Question Power steering problem

Anyone ever changed the power steering pump on our cars? Is it very hard, anything in particular to look out for? I am getting one as mine is failing and would like to put a new one on my 93 ES300. Any how-to's anywhere? Thanks.

I know it is failing because it is making alot of noise and the bearing is so bad you can pull on the pulley and it just wobbles all over the place. It is also leaking quite badly.

Jack stand and remove the right front wheel. Safety first; as you'll be loosening bolts, a jack alone may slip or fail.

The pump is right in front of you in the wheel well.

Replacement seems pretty straight forward.

I have used the Goodyear Poly-V flat belts with great results. A new pump deserves a new belt ...
