Our 2002 ES300 seems to have an intermitted reception issue on certain preset station buttons.
(4 and 5 in my case)

I have buttons 4 and 5 preset to certain stations. When I select - let's say 4, it goes to that station. However, every 5 sections it loses the station and you here silence, then reception picks right back up. Thne in 5 seconds, it goes off, then comes back on. If I use the seek button to go up or down one station, then come back to the station using the seek button, it seems fine.

Any one have the same problem??

 

yep, it happens.

easy fix: use the dial **** and tune away from the station that is coming in and out intermittantly. Dial back to the station using the **** and then press and hold the number button you want to store that station. It should stop doing it.

Funny you mentioned it, it hasn't happened to me in about a year.
