Default 1997 ES300 ashtray
I just recently bought a 1997 ES300 and sometimes when going over bumpy/rough raods, there is a kinda rattle coming from the ashtray. Anyone else have this problem and if so, any remedy ? Thanks

Check if there's anything loose in the ashtray compartment. Unplug the cigarette lighter and replug it back in, and see what happens.

I've tried removing the cigarette lighter and the ashtray insert and it still makes some noise. I've also tried removing everything I could with the ashtray open or closed. Still rattles

Mine does the same thing. My solution was stuffing the ashtray with a sheet of bounty paper towel.
