So when I originally did my research I found that the Camry and the ES share the same exhaust systems. So I managed to get ahold of the last World Sport cat-back out of Apex'i, and decided to do a visual inspection last night. However, when I checked underneath my car last night it appeared as if the cat was a welded on part of the b-pipe.

Is this really the case or am I just seeing things? Did the 2001 ES really come with a one-piece cat/b-pipe and every other MCV20-based vehicle got a seperate cat? Am I really that unlucky?

 

My '01 ES also has the one-piece cat. I believe this is the same for all '99-'01 ES since that was when the VVT-i engine and transmission was introduced.
