Hello, I have a 2000 ES300. And everytime I merge on the highway and give it some go, it will disable my overdrive or top gear. After like 15 secounds, both VSC lights come on, and my check engine light. If I pull over, disconect the battery, and connect it back up, everything will be normal again until I give it more then like 50 percent throttle. Has anyone ever had this happen to them before? What could be the cause? The car has 100,851 miles on it.

See there's this side effect to having a CEL/MIL come on. The car will tell you what the effect is & then you can find out what the cause is.What could be the cause?
Dude... Get it scanned. Anywhere with a scanner is going to do it for free.
Thats the wierd thing, I went to Autozone to get the codes checked and they didn't come up on their scan tool. Nothing came up on my OBDII datalogger from my DSM either. I will have access to a Mastertech scantool in 2 weeks when school starts again, but I don't want to wait that long.

Ok, I guess it is throwing a code for the knock sensor, but Autozone wouldn't give me what code it is.
Ill go tommorow when I know someone working who will give me the full code.

You guess? So you still don't know what the code, or the problem is.
Troubleshoot first. You're shooting blanks right now.
