does this model use a cabin air filter and if so where is it located?

 

Might wanna do a search or even look through the faqs. AFAIK, it's available on es300 but not on all years.

 

yes, its located behind the glovebox of your 01

 

I do not believe so. 2002 I believe was the first year that the filter was behind the glove box. I am pretty sure the 2001 and earlier ES's had the filter down by the gas pedal, behind the carpet.
