my 1993 es300 steering wheel has some pretty bad wear and tear on it, I was going to get the wheel retrimmed, then i thought to my self maby i can fit a steering wheel off a later model es300 1998 model, the one with the woodgran and leather.
anyone know if this is possible? will the cruise still work? and what about the air bag?

any single stage airbag / wheel combo up to 2001 will work.... even toyota.

u will just need to swap the stalk from the cruise control..


BTW.....the hard part is finding the right color single stage bag/wheel combo

 

I know the airbags do not swap unless you buy a new wheel to go with a new bag as well.
Not sure if they use the same plugs connecting the slockspring though
