I want to drop my car and not even that much but I want to be able to lift it back up. Bottoming out and stuff like that doesnt seem very fun to me. Has anyone considered an airbag system? Dont they right really nice and smooth?

no, its a rough ride and you cant drive fast. with whatever bag/air cylinder system no matter if its expensive or cheap, its gonna have problems.. if you dont drive your car often, its cool.. but for daily driving i wouldnt reccomend it to anyone

Cool Lowering springs

I have a 97 es300 with the stability control system next to the shifter. I currently have 20inch rims on my lex. I lowered my lex about 1.8inch around. I hated the ride. It was very ruff and bouncy. I'm thinking it was the springs(springtech). Does any one have 20inch rims on a 97-2001 es300 that has been lowered and if so, how is the ride. I took the springs off and is looking for some suggestions before I may another attempt to lower it again. This time using eibach springs because I was told they are better. I just cant stand the bouncy ride though.

Although he has 18" wheels on his '97 ES, do a search for "vin 78". He's running on JIC coilovers, and seemingly they provide improved flexibility and comfort on his ride.
