Sorry to disagree.......I purchased my '07 ES350 on May 1st. 2006, and I still have the original OEM blades which work as good as the day I bought this car!!!
Let's see if any aftermarket can beat that!! I don't think so.

I still have the same set of Aftermarket PIAA Blades just over 3 years old
Still works wonderful..
Same with the 2 other vehicles with PIAA wipers. Still working Great.
OEM doesn't always Rule.
If that where the case no one would be buying aftermarket products at all.
BUT some are definitely better than others.
I've had some double edge, triple edge blades in the past, they did ok.
The PIAA wipers by far exceeded those aftermarket wipers by a long shot.
I don't bash OEM products, I just believe PIAA has made some quality products, not just wipers, but lighting, and wheels as well.
I guess of all the OEM blades I have ever used even aftermarket Besides the PIAAs.
I DO notice a difference in visibilty and how well heavy rain is dispersed.
and how clear my windshield becomes.

But Yeah I still got my OLD set too

I bought my ES350 at the same time and the OEM blades are still working great. And that's after three Chicago winters of snow, ice and rain.

In the new issue Consumer Reports rates Anco 31 Series and Michelin RainForce as their top blades.

i have used bosch icon's in the past on my camry i had and they worked fantastic.
my lexus has the oem wipers with inserts and they seem to work fine, but the longevity and cleaning ability of the bosh blades was much better...
ill prob end up picking up a new set of the bosch's when im working on the car this weekend
