My 97 tested a max of 65. I got mine rewound to do 90 at idle and 180 peak. My regulator is too high for the engine idle RPM (I only get 11.5V at idle, when I up the RPMs to 900 and up my voltage will go up to 13.5V)

So if I were to install a Carputer on my 97 ES300, I should keep it under 100W or so?
