Default Part Number Request

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody knows the part number so that I can find someplace to buy it for the 2000 ES300 Platinum Edition wheels? 16 inchers. I can only find the chrome one, I only have the alloy set. Also i can't seem to find a "good" number, seems like anyone I ask would give me a different part number.

Thsnk

Not sure if you're looking for the chrome kind, but the part number for the chrome Platinum Edition set is 42611-33801C (http://www.lexus-parts.com/partdetai...bCategoryID=19).

I don't know the part number for the alloy kind, but you can certainly try calling your local Lexus parts dept and ask for it.

Thx dude,

i saw that site with the chrome part, but i was searching for the non-chrome one. I actually got the following from my dealer, 0845733801, not too sure if its legit since I can't seem to find anything online with this number. I also saw/was given a few with the AYP or something to that affect heading for the part number. Yet another place gave me something called Hollander number.

I finally got so frustracted that I pulled my old wheel and went looking for a number. It was then I realized that it was the first time I looked at it since they pulled it off my car and replaced it with the spare. Now, I know I'm not automobile inclined at all, nor do I have an "eye" for this, but to me the whole wheel looks fine to me. I was going to buy a new wheel based on my dealer telling me that the wheel is "bent." I rolled it, and it went straight, i checked the edges and all around the inside, and everything looks fine. I am asking a garage for a professional opinion on this and they say they'll charge me like 20 bucks to mount it on the car and spin it for me to see if there is any problems.

What do you think? Am I getting ripped by the dealer?

My experience with ANY dealer : You're probably getting ripped by the dealer.
Find a mechanic that is trustworthy, hard I know, but you have to realize dealerships make nothing on selling vehicles, it's all off the maintenance of them.

Thx...

I've been trying to find this wheel for the looongest time, each time it goes up on Ebay or something, I managed to get outbidded. Well...i'm trying auto salvage yards, and this one place contacted me....AAARims, they are offering the wheels at what seems to be a quarter of the price from the dealer, anybody has any experience with them?
