Default 1st gen. debadging

Does anyone know if there are pins behind the "Lexus" on the trunk? I would really appreciate it if someone knew this information. My friend has a black 2k1 GS3 and he debadged. It looks pretty clean, and I hope to do the same as long as there are no pin holes.

I'm pretty sure there are no pins holding the 'LEXUS' emblem on the trunk lid; it's fastened by some double-sticky adhesive from which you can use dental floss or some fishing line to remove the emblem.

I debadged the 'LEXUS' emblem in my '01 ES. Here's the thread with pics included.

My 96 had alignment tabs on the emblems and holes on the trunk.... I am assuming the years below also had them.

Yeah. I think I heard someone say/read something somewhere saying that all 1st gen. have the pins. I just wanted to confirm. Thanks for the input.
