Hey guys,
just as the title says my HL leveling warning light came on this week.
I checked my FSM and learned about the ride height sensor in the rear and the leveling ECU, I'm thinking my rear sensor is at fault but have not checked yet.
My LEX is fresh back from the body shop for a minor rear end collision so I suspect the sensor was not plugged back in or maybe the arm is disconnected.
However, I wanted to check here to see how common this warning light is and what others have found to be the Root Cause.
Thanks!

Well the replies and insight have been great....
I found yesterday that my sensor is completely broken off of the mounting point, which looks to be almost impossible considering how it is mounted.
My guess is something on the roadway bounced up and hit it. I'm glad it was easy to diagnose, but its a $alty part.

In my sensor one the ball joints froze due to rust/road salt and this caused the whole sensor to fall apart.

The linkage on my (now traded off) 2014 was also badly rusted to the point that I asked the dealership to test it…apparently it was ok. FYI, the Gen 7 went to LED headlights and this leveling feature was eliminated.
