Passenger side motor mount replacement issue
I ran into an obstacle while trying to remove and replace the passenger side motor mount on my 2004 ES330.
I removed all the nuts, jacked up the engine and can partially remove the mount. However, there is a small (1/4" or 1/2"?) metal pipe in the way of the rear-most bottom "tripod" foot of the mount preventing removal (lifting up and out) of the otherwise loose mount.
My guess is that this metal tube is a high pressure brake line or power steering line. None of the videos on youtube seem to deal with this obstacle to removing the mount.
I'm wondering if anyone here has encountered this problem. Do you have to remove the brake line or whatever it is in order to remove the mount? Would it be wise to pry the tube up forcefully to make room to remove the mount? That seems like a bad idea, but I'm not sure how to remove the mount with that there.
