Default ABS module

I have an 04 es 330 and my brakes lock up after replacing the clip that turns off the brake tail lights by the brake pedal. Now my abs module is making a sound where it’s losing air and I have no pressure when I push the brake pedal?

Is the ABS or Trac light on the dash? What clip are you referring to? I understand there is a module under the brake pedal that is used to activate the brake lights, but that usually doesn’t affect the ABS or pedal feel or anything like that. However a bad ABS pump can cause the brakes to lock up or the pedal going to the floor without stopping promptly.

on the part #74015 pedal bushing & pedal stop assortment. The problem I had before my brakes started to lock up was that my tail lights didn’t turn off when the car was off. I watched couple YouTube videos and saw that there was a clip on the brake pedal that turns off the tail lights and mines had broke off.

For my abs module, I flushed my brakes thinking air was in the system but after I heard a sound coming from the abs module when I push the brake pedal.

Hello,

What happens if you take the Clip that you replaced Off again?
Have you tried pulling an ABS or Trac Fuse Out to see what changes?
Did this issue appear right after replacing the Clip, or there was some time in-between?
Was there anything else done to find the cause of the issue aside from flushing the Brakes?
Do you have any Diagnostics Equipment capable of accessing ABS and Trac System specifically, something like Techstream?

A Video of the sound in question would be helpful.

Never heard of those Clips failing, let alone causing issues with the ABS System, flushing the Brakes introduces another variable as well. It sounds as if the Bypass Solenoid is triggered for some reason, releasing all the Pressure, but it's a mere random guess without the Scan Tool. Techstream would be the best option, as it allows access to every Module individually, providing Fault Codes, Live Data, and most importantly, the Active System Check, which allows you to Manually trigger each individual Component of the System, which could be quite valuable in this case.

Hope this helps and best of luck!
