Default Front end noise

Hello everyone. I want to help me locate the noise coming from the front. It does not happen all the time. Yesterday, I pushed the left strut and it made a popping noise in my school garage. I drove home and parked. I tried to push it down again and nothing happened. I used a pry bar to check the ball joint but there isn't movement. I lifted the car, put it in drive, accelerate and traction light appeared. Is it a bad CV axle, because my car doesn't make any noise when turn. I also have a noise coming from my steering. I think it maybe a intermediate shaft, it can make noise too.

Is the axle nut loose? Or maybe a bad wheel bearing either way don't drive the car that's downright dangerous.

Thank you Lex2K. I just checked the axle nut. It tight. I replaced wheel bearing recently. I just grab the inner cv joint of the driver side, I think that's the problem. Can you look at the video and confirm? Just in case it 's CV Axle, what would be your choice between GSP and Cardone. I search forums for this matter. I know you always recommend OEM, but the cost for the driver car of this side is expensive

Movement you have of the inner stub is normal. Don't know what's happening exactly with your axle, or whatever is moving around like that. If you need an axle be warned all aftermarket axles are at best okay.

After reading your comment, I watched few Youtube videos, and they say the play is normal too. Just want to confirm with you, the CV axle play of my first post( when i grab the outter axle) is not normal.
So you think it will be either CV axle or wheel bearing?

I can't tell from your video. I've never seen a Toyota wheel bearing fail to that extent but anything is possible.

....watched your video again I think the outer axle joint is shot. Disclaimer: don't know for sure.

Thank you for the advice. I'm going to borrow my friend's car, which is the 05 ES330 to check it. Based on my search, I think the CV axle is the one cause the traction light on when I lifted it
