Default Wheel Locks

Wheel theft here in DC, MD and VA have been through the roof. Cars all over the city are being left on bricks. There's a guy on Twitter/Tik Tok that makes videos detailing his stolen wheels adventures. He's a tow truck driver.

He recommended buying wheel locks called RIMLOX

https://rimlox.com/home

There's another company called Rim Guard but I watched a few YT videos where they showed how these "guards" can still be ripped off using pry bar and other methods.

Rimlox looks good and they even have a warranty and guarantee.

Any recommendations? Thanks

They are very expensive. The web site looks very sketchy, they want a lot of info before giving out a price etc.
And insurance will often cover this theft. Cheaper wheel locks may be almost as good as a general deterent, unless you live in a really bad area.

I did also see Rimgard which makes them for Toyota. Again these are $400!!! https://us.rimgard.com/products/toyota

These Advanced wheel locks look interesting and are only $120 compared to $400 although you can get McGard for under $50 https://advancedwheellocks.com/produ...g-seat-toyota/

What you need to do is put wheel locks on your wheels, then park next to a honda accord without wheel locks.

They are mostly targeting Toyota/Honda/Nissan 2020-2024 wheels.
