Default Clunk feeling and sound when accelerating

Hope someone can give me some directions on how to find the root of the problem on this one. 2004 es330, getting a clunk feeling when quickly hitting the gas pedal. Example, I'm accelerating, let the gas go and then quickly hitting the gas > front end clunk feeling (muffled clunk noise) . Trans shifts fine, no slippage. Engine mounts?

Hello,

What's the mileage on the car?

Extremely hard to tell anything without either seeing the car, or at least hearing the noise in question, a video would be helpful. For now, the easiest way to go about it would be to go under the car with a pry bar and pry on every bushing you suspect, see if there is any wear, cracking, or excessive movement from any of them. With higher mileages, it may be the combination of partially worn bushings and general wear all around the car that give you such effect.

Hope this helps and best of luck!

Might be the lower control arms or the dogbone mount, very common on these cars but may or may not be your problem.
