P0441 Code and Running Rich
97 Es300 here with 303k miles that has a P0441 Code. I have already changed the solenoid right by the charcoal canister with no luck. I’ve gone through the lines and replaced any that were cracked but that also did not work. The P0441 is the only code showing, but it also seems like the car is running rich as well. I hooked up my scanner and it is showing that the Long Term fuel trim is 15%. It does smell like it is running rich as well. I know there have been plenty of people have a P0441 code, but has anyone also had the car running rich at the same time?

Try and fix the 441 code first. In some cases the only way to solve this is replace the entire canister.

Hello,
Here is a Parts Catalogue for your car, showing all the solenoids referenced below.
The VSV right by the Charcoal Canister appears to be for Vapor Pressure Sensor, which is only used during Startup check sequence. The Purge Control VSV is located under the Engine Cover, between the heads, it's a Blue valve, Part Number for it is 90910-12150. If that solenoid is stuck open, it can very well result in a rich mixture, since it's basically allowing more fuel to enter the engine than necessary.
It's a Normally Closed valve, so you can check it by disconnecting a wiring pigtail and blowing into it, if it will turn out being open, you will have to replace it. Those valves can easily be found at any junkyard, often for free, so you may as well replace it and see what happens.
Hope this helps and best of luck!
