Exclamation P0137 cel code b1s2 downstream

I own a 2005 Lexus ES330. The check engine light comes on often and goes away. My mechanic diagnosed with OBD2 scanner and found out low voltage problem on bank 1 sensor 2 oxygen sensor (P0137 CEL CODE B1S2 DOWNSTREAM).

How much will it roughly cost to fix the issue?

Did your mechanic give you an estimate? Should be 1 hour plus parts, maybe 1.5.

Hello,

Sounds like an overkill.. It is something that you can do yourself for less that $100 if you have a set of hand tools, jack and a jack stand, given that it is not seized in there for good. Here is a thread about B1S2 location and replacement on those cars.

Hope this helps and best of luck!

Did the mechanic cost out labour and parts or just gave you a total. These are generally very easy to replace.
