Default Leaky sunroof

My es330 sunroof leaks. I cleaned out the 2 drain channels and thought that was the solution. Now I noticed leaking through the passenger side panel, the curtain I believe it’s called. I hate to mess with that area being so close to the air bag. Any suggestions? Maybe the drain tube should be replaced.
Thanks!

Hello,

Sorry, but your explanation seems kind of vague. What about the picture of where exactly it leaks?
You can test your drain tubes by simply blowing in them, that will tell right away if they are clogged. Maybe you should also check the seal around the glass..

Hope this helps and best of luck!

Thanks for replying! A month ago I cleaned the tubes with a flexible wire and then blew out. I tested it with water poured into the drain hole. It drained onto the road and made the sucking sound so it seemed to be clear. But yesterday the water leaked through the “curtain” panel when I tested it with water. Does that mean the tube is unseated or damaged?

If it leaks along the pillar, and not straight from the roof, you will probably be better off removing the interior trim to get a clear view of the drain tube and then run the test again. If the hose is damaged in some way, you should be able to clearly see it.

Hope this helps and best of luck!

I’m also not clear where it’s leaking, but in your original post you say that you cleaned 2 drain tubes. There are 4 drain tubes. One in each corner.
