Default adaptive variable suspension question

My rear shocks are toast in my 06 ES330 and Ive been shopping around but they all seem to say W/O or excludes adaptive variable suspension. I don't have a "sport/comfort" switch but there is a VSC light that illuminates if the CEL is triggered. So I'm assuming it has some kind of stability control but I just don't know if it has the aforementioned "adaptive variable suspension". Are these systems one in the same, switch or no switch?

VSC and adaptive suspension are two different systems they are not related. Need to read the code(s) to find out what the fault is mostly likely a bad ABS sensor.

Thank you for quick reply and for clarifying that for me. The VSC light isn't on now, I was simply pointing that out for informational purpose. Im trying to figure out if these shocks that "exclude vehicles with AVS" will work on my car

On the 3ES you can swap in standard struts in place of the AVS versions I'm quite sure on your car this is the same.

If you don't have a console switch with "sport" and "comfort" you don't have the AVS. The w/o AVS stuff is for you!
