Default Cv joints for ES330

Looking to replace my front cv joints on my 06 es330 later this year. I didn’t think Lexuspartsnow would charge so much so this might be the first aftermarket part I put on the car haha. Any recommendations for a good brand??

A year later but better late than never. Anyone had to change theirs recently? I need to do mine soon. Seriously.

I had to replace mine after both sides nicked the cotter pin after my LCA debacle. I ordered mine from 1A Auto and was pleased with the quality and price. Got them in two days and so far so good. Would buy them again from 1A Auto.

Thanks. How long do you think those will last?

Honestly, as long as they go 100k or so, it will be fine. They aren't expensive at all and they are very easy to change. Just watch out for the output shaft seals and be prepared to replace those. The output shaft seal lost the spring on the driver's side and it was a huge pain in the butt to replace it. You almost need to remove the strut housing completely in order to be able to drive it in as the tolerances are very tight.

I replaced my driver side with a used OEM one from ebay as I don't too much mileage on mine. Its been good so far. I don't expect it to last for too long, as I only got it as a quick replacement for one was spewing joint lubricant everywhere. Seemed like it had an endless supply of it lol.

Side note, removing the right axle carrier bearing from the mount can be a nightmare.

Thankfully on my southern-only car, it tapped right out with a light hit from a punch, which wasn't even needed honestly. If your car has been exposed to salt or snow, you might have a real problem with it...

Well, the drivers side cv axle is out of stock on 1A Auto. Not sure if I should just get them from Auto Zone or somewhere similar.

As long as they have a warranty then you'll be fine.
