Default Rare manual transmission 135k power loss random misfire

What's up ganggg
I bought my ES for cheap $680, she got the 3VZFE and was smoking when I got her u can see her posted somewhere on YouTube. Any way yeah I changed the ECU and the smoke stopped thanks to you guys. And on the way before I changed the ECU I ordered some injectors, valve cover gasket, plugs and autolite iridiums . And changed all those . Before I bought her the car pulled like my v6 Mazda 6 wagon and I fell in love right away because of the pull while smoking like a train. I didn't get her that day so the guy sold it to another guy aaaand like went to Ocean city MD and got it from him.... What a story right? Yeah but when I got the car from the 2nd guy in oc she was very weak cuz he drove her for 130 miles and I drove her back the same. But when I changed the ECU the smoke stop and the engine was really better but still not like the first test drive. Backkk to the problems... So I changed all those those parts and she still misfires randomly while pulling specially in the 2000-2500 rpm she hesitate s bad . While parked the engine is quiet and revvvs like hell and idles at 750. (After the new ECU the idle was 1800-2000 adjusted it to 750.) . So 2 days ago we tried to check if there is a crack on the manifold and not a single crack but there was a loose gasket on the lower part of the manifold where the pipe comes and meets it. We changed that. The car kinda back fires on hard revvs and mechanic said it's because of the flex pipe so I'm gonna change that soon and he found out there was a wrong plug order on the distributor and on the injectors but I checked that for sure and he said he fixed that and let me know the firing order I believe it's 123 front 456 back , now she's on 135 back 246 front and still misfires randomly and power not like the first drive... So my people I almost stated all her problems please let me know how I can restore the power and stop the power loss and random misfire. Thanks

Spark plug wires? And toss those spark plugs and put in Denso or NGK. Also clean the ACIS valve it's the one on the RH side of the manifold with a vacuum pod on it. They get really filthy.

Please use paragraphs it makes posts much easier to read.

What is? First thing you should do is test the ignition wires and replace if needed. If that doesn't reveal anything pull one injector connector at a time to see if you can affect a change. If you find a dead cylinder ohm test the injector if it tests good do a compression test.

The spark plugs? Yeah we tried pulling the coils out and every cylinder recated to it so it's not the wires. The wires are all new

So my people, I saw some Posts about bad distributor cap and my cap has oil leaking from it like from the lower part it's dripping and already ganged up on the lower frame. And there's visible oil gung on top of the distributor too. I have a video of it I will try to post if it lets me or screenshot and post it soon

Default Rare manual transmission 3vzfe Lexus smoking and spitting fuel out of exhaust

Hello everyone

I'm back after almost 9 months of having almost no issues after replacing the ECU. It sometimes hesitates and consumes fuel but that rarely happens. So I took the car to VA beach 160 mile one way and back, after that now I'm noticing the car smokes on cold start sometimes with thumping noise and fuel like smell and spitting from exhaust with major gas consumption. What bothers me is this doesn't happen every day, all of a sudden on one morning it starts smoking begging hesitating and after like maybe 15 minute drive acts normal and kinda strike that the whole day. Next day it might be okay but after two days it starts again. Please help on what it could be. I have replaced ECU, cap and rotor, pcv valve, all 6 injectors, air filter, plugs and wires, cleaned TB...please what could be causing this intermittent smoking bogging hesitation and high fuel consumption?

Maybe the replacement ECU is bad? The capacitors on this vintage ECU are known to leak.

It drives normal for a day or 2 then acts up, I was thinking of changing the fuel pressure regulator. How can I know if the ecu is the problem again?

Could do that easy to do.

Bad ECU in my experience shows up as random engine problems, can't say I've seen a pattern sometimes the car runs fine others very badly or even stalls and won't start.
