Not sure what light you're referring to, but I would check the oil level. Moreover, check your owner's manual to determine which warning light is illuminated.

There isn't an oil change interval light on a 2002 ES300.

So like HJ said above, you are probably referring to the low oil warning light (red on most cars), or the Check Engine Light (CEL - yellow and is an engine outline).
