99 RX300 Not until a few years ago did this malfunction start. I do not have a garage for my Lexus. It has stayed outside for almost 20 years and runs well. When it has been raining for awhile,everything but the deep bass from the sound system cuts out. It's like only the subwoofer is connected. Then when the sun comes out, and things dry, the normal sound performance comes back. During the past rainy week, however, I noted that the sound is normal with just the ignition on, but as soon as I start the engine, sound goes out again. Comes back as I turn the engine off and turn the key thru just the ignition. Maybe it isn't just the rain after all. Can anyone enlighten me as to what's happening?
