Hey guy I just bought an es300 from a friend that needs some tlc. My first order of business with this beauty is new keys. I only got one key for the car and the fob end of the key is broken off. My question is do I have to contact a dealer for a new set or can I get my own online and reprogram them myself? I'm also not sure if I have the master or not.

I bought my gently used 2003 ES300 two years ago and received the master key with remote and the valet key. I bought another master key without the remote feature and the "wallet key" from 1010keys.com. They advertise on Ebay and because I didn't have the "key code", they made the keys from a photo of the one master key I had. The cost was a fraction of what the dealer would charge. They also provided the programming instructions. I wanted to change the programming anyway in case the missing keys were out there somewhere.

Thank you for your reply but do you know if I can program new keys even if the chip(which I don't have) was broken off the end of my key.

I believe that if you can start the car with what you have, you can program the new key.
