Finally had to give it up to a shop. They spent 4 hours on it, and came up with the same thing I did. Jack squat. So, we have to decide if we take it to Lexus, or auction. Thanks so much for your help, nsghtbrwry. It was much appreciated. I'll let you know what happens, if it gets fixed.

Best of luck man, sorry we couldn't figure it out. As a last resort, what about swapping out the ECU? I think it will need to be programmed with Techstream or something though (never done it myself, and it's not like the Toyotas of the same vintage due to the security system)

The shop didn't find anything out of the ordinary. Ex-Lexus Master tech was there for 4 hours, supposedly, and they found absolutely nothing. All numbers from live data were withing specs. One more thing I did find interesting. The gauge for temp reads below half. I put in a 170 degree thermostat. Live data reads out to around 205, no higher. This is when the problem seems to be the worst.Up to about 175-180 degrees, all good. After that, it just goes downhill. Thoughts?

Below half of what it should, or below the halfway mark of the gauge? I use stock thermostats on my ES's, and after 5-6 minutes they take to warm up, the gauge ends up right at the middle or very slightly below.

Temp gauge on the dash reads below half once it warms. Live data shows the temp going up, even after the gauge itself stops below half. Another note. Thinking the throttle body was getting hot, I disconnected the coolant lines from it, and did a short drive. Same results. Yesterday, tested the EGR, and it tested good, vacuum and electrical both. Exhaust was pulled at the Y-pipe, and although it sounded not bad, no difference.

Update..... No changes. Swapped out the coils and wires thinking they might be breaking down. Nothing changed. Still misfires after the warm up.
