To be clear you blew some fuses but replaced them? Did you check if they blew again? Are you sure the dimmer is not turned down all the way?

I don't have a wiring diagram for your model so can't check the fuses/power sources maybe someone here has a diagram. Did you check the fuses with a test light or just visually? Did you cut any wires when installing the stereo? How did you blow the fuse.

I check all the fuse by visual, I used the harness kit from axxess so I didn't have to cut any wire even when I put back the factory headunit it still wouldn't work

Default I'm having the same problem

I am having this exact same problem with my 2006 ES330. I dont have the cig lighter illumination or the backlight for the climate control LCD. When I turn my headlight switch to "off", the backlight lights on the climate control light up all the way so I'm assuming the bulbs are good. When I put my headlight switch back on "auto" or "on" the dimmer control works for my other lights fine. My shifter indicator bulb is also out if anyone has a good part number for that. I tapped into the cigarette power to run a backup camera when I noticed my cig and power point fuses were blown. I have since taken the 12V ta off for the backup camera and just got power from my reverse lights. I replaced both fuses for cig and powerpoint and they work fine now. Thanks for any ideas.
