Default Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Wiring?

I recently ran a diagnostic test in my 2003 Lexus ES300, the ambient air temperature sensor code popped up. This makes sense, the outside air temp. reading in my a/c unit says - -. I bought a new sensor but I can not find the location of it on my car. All the boards are giving different locations and the online diagrams are not helpful at all. Is it behind the bottom grill of the car? I can see what looks like a white plastic clip attached to it without the sensor, this honestly could just be a random piece of plastic. My car is used and it is possible that it is missing, but I do not think it has been in an accident that can cause the sensor to go missing.
My question is, where is this sensor located on the 2003 Lexus ES300 (a picture would be awesome).

EDIT-- just found the disconnected sensor and half a foot of wiring attached to it. It is about a foot away from the clip I saw. Wires are cut. Does anyone know where the wiring for the sensor connects to or a diagram of the wiring?
