Default OEM starter rebuild kit part number

Hi guys,

I did a search but I could not find the info. I'm looking to purchase the toyota oem starter rebuild kit. Anyone know what the part number is? the car is 97 es300. The part number on the starter is 28100-03100. Thanks a lot.

No such thing from the dealer you can buy a new solenoid assembly or individual parts but there is no kit that includes for example the terminals and plunger. There are kits on Ebay for example this is the first one that popped up in a search

Thanks. I was aware of aftermarket rebuild kits and I thought Toyota would have something of similar. I had my eye on a rebuild kit from amazon, good price and great reviews. For those interested, do a search on amazon for "Starter Repair / Rebuild Kit for Nippondenso 1.2kW, 1.4kW OSGR Starters (Plunger & Solenoid Contacts)"

the same starter is shared among other toyota engines eg camry / avalon etc. you can go to any toyota dealer for starter kit aka contacts.

Toyota does sell the contacts, solenoid etc. but you must buy them individually this tends to get expensive.

Yes, Toyota sells plungers, contacts separately and I was considering going that route. For an OEM fan myself, I'm content with the kit mentioned in my last post, however. It has high reviews - one reviewer installed on 98 es300 and it was a perfect fit. I don't link it here b/c I don't think links are allowed. Thanks to all the responses.
