Being giving a 2002 ES300
And that title should read, "Being given a 2002 ES300". Sorry!
Should I take it? It is my mother in law. 225K miles. They've always serviced it and kept it in good condition. Seems to be running absolutely fine. I'm just worried that its going to stop running soon. Should I take it? It's getting a look over by a mechanic tonight. Id just like some fellow es owners opinions!

Reason being as I don't want to pay insurance for a 3rd car. If we were to acccept this car I would be selling my 2008 mazda 6.

Go for it. But first test drive it in stop and go traffic. The transmission is known to lag a lot causing the car to jerk. Its just the way how they are programmed. This will be something you have to get used to coming from a very responsive / sporty Mazda.
Make sure the timing belt service has been done at least twice at that mileage.
