Default Maguired my headlamps today!

2006 Es I purchased last night. I noticed the yellow headlamps when i pulled in the dealer. I bought this thing on eBay at 5pm then hauled butt from Chattanooga to Atlanta 118 miles to try and get there before they closed at 8. I was not there 20 minutes and that included test drive around block and my quick inspection. The car checked out with no surprises except the headlamps being yellow and foggy.

Got up this mornin, ran to advanced auto and picked up the maguire perfect clarity 2 step kit..it comes with 2 bottles and 2 Brillo type sponge disc thingys...taped things off. Popped the hood and went to scrubbing with the cleaner. It had some grit to it. Lastly applied the finishing spray. Wow what a difference that made! I mean they are not perfect but 90% better for sure. I do recommend! $25 plus tax. Hard to beat

Nice buy, you will love your ES.

I keep a good coat of wax on my headlights to keep them clear.

Nice. That's about the best Otc solution to oxidized headlights.

What if your headlights aren't oxidized? Mine are just foggy, NOT pittted.

Yes, works great on foggy ones, too. Mine were horrible when I bought the car used a few months ago, I'd say they're 90% better now, and have remained clear since cleaning (about 3 months).
