The bezel on my drivers door did the same thing. The cause of my issue was the locking tab on the bezel had broken off. I bought a new one from Lexus (I think it was about $8). It snaps into place. When investigating my issue originally, I read that some people used RTV to hold the broken bezel in place.

Note, if I remember correctly, the bezel slides in toward the side of the handle (the bezel has a couple of tabs on the flat side) and the locking tab pushes in on the other side (in your picture the side that is stuck out). Also, pull the door handle out to give you room to tilt the bezel to get the two tabs on the flat side to slide in.

Let me know if that helps. I don't have that bezel with me, so if you need more help let me know and when I get home I'll take a picture of it and that should help you see what I'm referring to.

Dave,

Update...It appears that the tabs on the bezel were intact and the tabs on the lock cylinder seemed to be the ones in bad shape.
Im slightly embarrassed to say I chose the RTV route for this repair

Thanks Again

When ordering any Toyota part, I recommend Sewell Parts. Will be lower priced than your local dealer most likely.
