so now all Im getting is static. CD player and tape player works but no AM/FM radion station .
any ideas?-

 

Sounds like the antenna is unhooked, whether it's at the radio end or the window end (or inbetween) is the question.

Do you have any diagrams for the antenna to where they are located?

 

It's located in the rear window. Start with the easiest, check connection to the radio. If it's good there then check at the rear window, the connector is located behind the left rear C-pillar. If it's connected there then do a continuity check between the radio connection and the rear window connection.
