Hey peeps, My name is Julius form Pasadena, CA and I am renovating a '92 ES-300. It has a tan interior and white and silver split exterior. I initially purchased it cheaply for my college bound son but one of the cylinders were bad. I'm embarassed to show a pic of it but once I get it up an running I will show the progression of pimping it out. Right now I have replaced the engine but the Check Engine light is still coming on. The mechanic who replaced the engines says I must replace something called the Knock Sensor,. The back light on the odometer display is not functioning especially near the gas guage. I can't use the cigarette lighter to charge my phone. It needs Front & Back Strut Shock Assembly, Driver side Window Regulator (front & Back) and I must replace the back windshield as someone tried to peel off the tinted film and scraped off the Defogger strips. So I have my work cut out for me. Maybe after all that I can get the upholstery redone. I love a challenge!

My name is Chris, and I'm from GA. I have actually owned two Lexus before. I never joined the club but wanted to now. I previously owned a 1991 LS400 until she gave out on me. I then purchased a 1996 ES300. I love all of the Lexus line-up and will continue to purchase and drive them. I look forward to one day purchasing a IS250c, IS350, or a CT200h. But i truly wish for that LFA lol.

Hello my names Jake and I bought my 2000 es300 back in April.
It's not the coach edition or everything but it came with the black interior which I have found is kind of rare. I have converted much of the lights to LED's I also just put KYB GR2 struts on it with wheels from a 2007 es350 and Goodyear Eagle GT tires.
All in all I LOVE the car.

Dan here from central Arkansas.. 1 year owner of a very nicely kept 2005 ES 330. Black leather / silver paint. I love the car and it makes me look good! All new audio system to be installed by myself. Does anymore have any pointers or things to watch for when installing the new system? Hello everyone - Need a good Mechanic in San Antonio
Hello everyone, My name is Frank. I have a Lexus, 1997 ES300 with 275,000+ miles on it and I love the way it runs. I had a mechanic who did all my work, but he is really busy and doesnt have time.
I need to repair my rear main seal and am looking for a good private mechanic that I can get to know who really knows Lexus cars. Any suggestions? Comments? It's really expensive to take my car to any mechanic shop !!!

New to Forum 2000 ES300
Hello all,
My name is Chris and I have a 2000 ES300 and a 2005 RX330. Love the Lexus! My 2000 ES is showing a po171/po420 code, I just replaced the bank 1 O2 sensor and cleaned the MAF sensor, any ideas? Car runs great but maybe burning lots of fuel, I need to calc.

Whats up guys! Name is Alladien, live out in houston. I picked up a 1998 Lexus ES300 from a buddie about a month ago now. Has 170k on it, everything works great, body needs minor work and a new paint job or possibly a wrap. Planning to change the steering wheel to wood grain still looking into it. Slammed the car on K Sport coil overs and put on a set of 19" Work Euroline Dz wheels. Let me know what you guys think.
