If I might, leave that car alone. At most, perhaps a set of Lexus IS wheels. You have a keeper there, Well done.

Default New-To-Me '99 ES300

Hey all,

New to the Lexus club. I'm coming form owning a 2001 Jeep XJ, and after that met an untimely demise, I started looking into the JDM sphere. Never been a fan of newer cars, and looking into Lexus, all I read about was how reliable they were.
Which was something I was looking for after my Jeep. Loved my Jeep, but it broke down, and I learned new automotive things. I'd say I'm at a beginner-amateur level of automotive experience.

The only thing about the ES300 I wasn't stoked about was the fact it's FWD, which seems to limit modding opportunities. However, I needed a reliable daily driver, so I found this ES300 which was fairly clean.

Dig the black color, but the paint is damaged and will need to be fixed eventually. But overall, I'm enjoying my new ride and seeing what I can do with it!

99 Es300

Happy to be in the club!

If your wheels are chrome and in good condition you should keep them. They can be hard to find.

Default 2005 es330

I bought my 2005 ES330 about 9 months ago with 119,XXX miles. It has a light-colored interior that is in perfect condition. The paint color is green. I love this car and my wife hates it. She calls it my old man car.

Cool New2Me 99 ES300 runs great

[QUOTE=Welcome to CL;7868960]

Ayyyy whats up, I just bought an old 99 ES300 I'm here to ask a question but I'm also just stoked about it. Not cause its new or fast or yada yada but its super solid and for me the nicest thing I ever had forsure with how sweet the interior is and how well everything works especially for 180k.

Its white, interior is that light tan color, I dont have a picture on hand sorry.

I was watching some videos of my car and noticed they had regular like 16" wheels with plastic covers, I have wheel wheels and they're much bigger/lower profile tires but they have the logo they are lexus wheels

did some of them come with bigger wheels or are these from another car? anybody know lol, either way it looks waaay better with em.

Glad to be here, thanks guys

bro thats extremely clean, if I were you I wouldn't even mess with it. its your car, your first car especially I understand and dont let anyone stop you but just my advice once you start playing with the fitting and whatnot especially with an older car its never gonna be snug like it was.

either way I hope you have fun my man, how many miles? and how much did you pay if you dont mind?

Default New to the Club

Hey group!

I

just bought my first Lexus from this nice elderly lady. 2004 ES 330, 148K miles, service records stretching back to 2005. I've always wanted a Lexus. This will be my around-town-car. Looking forward to some ideas and thoughts on some classy mods.

Default New to Lexus

Hi y'all, I recently bought a 2004 ES 330. She's silver with a grey interior. I think it's a base model, as there's no navigation or sunshade.

She wasn't in the best of shape when I got her, but I'm making progress bringing her back to her original self.

With 132,000 miles, she's still got a lot of life left
