Changing seat heating element
Hi,
Has anyone had experience changing the heating elements for heated seats? I have a 1997 ES300 and both the driver and passenger heated seats don't work (but the light turns on in the switch, and all the fuses look good). I found these heating elements: http://www.andysautosport.com/lexus/...c00000704.html and was wondering if anyone knew how I would go about installing them.
Thanks

Get a good set of hog ring pliers. You'll have to remove the seat. Once out you need to remove the leather seat cover. If you are careful you can re-use the hog rings but it's probably a good idea to just replace them. It's not difficult but it is time consuming.
