Hello i recently got a 98 es300. I have the weird problem of the right hand side low beam is not getting any power, the highs work on both sides though. I checked all the fuses that i thought would be the problem and they all look good and tested fine for continuity and replaced the h7 bulb to no avail. Any one have an idea of whats wrong?

 

i dont know if it can help:

Only one side light does not light :
1. HEAD (LH, RH) Fuse (E/G Room J/B)
2. Headlight Bulbs
3. Wire Harness

or

Lo–Beam” does not light :
1. Light Control Switch
2. Headlight Dimmer Switch
3. Headlight Bulbs
4. Wire Harness

 

Had a similar issue with mine. The bulb socket on my low beam ended up being bad - I'm not sure how it occurred. Perhaps the previous owner had a higher wattage bulb in it or something like that. It was a bit melted looking. Swapped out the socket (bought at one of the online Lexus dealers) which was cheap and it was fixed.

 

so checked the bulb socket seemed fine pulled a few more fuses to test all tested fine, but now when i turn on the low beam it comes on for a half second then clicks off. I'm thinking it might be a relay now but in my manual it doesn't label what any of the relays are. So i was hoping someone could tell me which relay i am looking for .
