Default 1999 ES300 OCV Solenoid Part #???

I have a 99 ES300 and is running not to great and upon the symptoms I've looked up it sounds like I'm going to need the Oil Control Valve Solenoid...I've found how to replace them in the DIY thread but the part number I got from that thread shows them for the RX300...but not the ES300..aren't they the same motors? So I am looking for the part Numbers for it so I can order it from O'reillys or AutoZone etc etc for my 1999 ES300..

Thanks in advance for the help!

Call your local lexus tomorrow and ask for the part # and price. Then check the price here: http://www.toyotapartszone.com/

Also have you checked the screens for debree?

That sounds right. If your in doubt call a different lexus dealer and give them the part number and ask them what it does.

Here's the part that I bought: OES Genuine - Engine Variable Timing Solenoil, Left http://www.autopartsnetwork.com/cata...300_year:1999_

"Toyota calls this a Cam Timing Oil Control Valve" per Auto Parts Network's website.

Looks a little different from the OEM but works fine.

About $85 with shipping.
