Default oil change

I have a ES, 2004, 95000 miles, runs great, should i start changing oil at 3000 miles or stick with 5000 miles? My local shop uses Kendall oil, been going there since new, a few oil changes at the dealer if a deal is going on. any input will be helpful. Thanks

Tim

It mostly depends on your driving habits. What is your highway/city percentage and what is the length of your average trip?

average trip a day is 27 miles round trip to work. Easy drive. 55-60 mph, 2 traffic lights. Use my other car for other driving and short trips. No dirt roads.

I would just stick with 5k changes. No need to change earlier with your route.

I would switch to a full synthetic oil. With that, 5K is a breeze.
