i always wondered what it would be like to drive my car with a 5 speed. I do love the AUTO, its just more comfortable. But when a Honda pulls next to me and revs his tin can muffler, I think a 5 speed would not only be more fun, but beneficial....

Bought my car last week....76225 on dash then...this week...after running around town exploring and driving back to Champaign, IL, I've just checked in at 76890!!!!  I know...over 600 miles in a week...time to slooowwww it all down! I want her to last a while. Ohh yeah...just conditioned my seats (not like it really needed it) and ohh yeah...they're butter soft (really like 40% softer now) and ice clean!!! I was looking for Lexol Leather cleaner and conditioner but ended up grabbing some Meguiars Gold Class Rich Leather Cleaner/Conditioner. The stuff's not bad at all.

Year/Mileage
I have a 1995 ES300 with 117,000 miles on it. I've personally owned/driven the car for 5 years and 90,000 miles. The car still runs like it's brand new. Other than the normal scheduled maintenance, I've only had to replace the two CV boots, O2 Sensor, and the AC Expansion valve. All relatively minor issues. The car runs like a top so it's really hard for me to go drop $34K+ on a 2003. I did test drive a $31K certified preowned 2002 with 12k on the clock that was pretty sweet. Can you believe Lexus only wanted to offer me $5K for my car (I expected ~$7K)!!! So I was looking at like $26K + my car to do the deal. I'll wait until the depreciation kicks in a little more on the 2002's.

Thanks for the info....I'll definately consider this when I grab my next whip. This car may get a sibling this year or early next. For now, I'll focus on leanring everything I can about her...she's been good to me a week so far let's see what else she can do...

speak English, man! I had to look this up!
whip n 1. car. Origin: street/hip-hop slang from New York City. ("Get in the whip and turn left at the next block.") -v 1. to drive recklessly.

I got 366,000 km on mine still running strong except for the mysterious oil smell I just got. I assume that on of the seals or gaskets is dripping oil onto the exhaust and is venting the air into the car.
