3000k green foglights? problem solved
so i recently went to a shop to install some 3000k HIDs in my fogs a couple weeks ago, but for some reason they turned out green instead of yellow. i just got my replacement bulbs from hidextra today so i figured to go ahead and swap them out on my own. guess what i found? it seems that my foglight housings were FILLED with water. after removing the water and sealing the housings around with some rubber sealant, the light output finally came out to be golden yellow.
only bad thing now is that there's a lot of noticeable water spots on the inside of the housings. probably to be expected from baking out the water
anyone else ever had problems with water getting into the foglight or headlight housings?
