Default is it easy to change lighter socket

just got a 1997 lexus es300 nothing wrong with it but the time dont say nothing d=but it did and the lighter socket dont workk how do i change it

Check your fuse box. The clock and the lighter might be connected.

On the 93 the lighter fuse is connected to the climate control, stock radio, clock and of course the lighter. So certainly check your fuses first

otherwise the socket is very easy to change, take apart the pop-out tray which i believe is very similar to mine, paying close attention to how it goes together, pop out the old one, put in the new one, connect the wires and there you go.
