Default 2003 ES300 w/ Cloth Seats - Is it rare?

I was visiting a local dealership a buddy of mine works at and they happened to have an '03 ES300 in pearl white. The car had a sunroof, although it had cloth seats. The steering wheel didn't have any wood on it, as well as the shift ****. Here's my question - is the car rare? It truly caught my eye for some reason...

That car is ridiculously rare, especially since it has a sunroof and its 02+

Looking at the service history, it shows that the rear main seal needs to be replaced. No thanks...

Don't know if I'd let that stop me if I liked the car. The service history on my car stated it needed a rear main seal. I cleaned the engine bay up and have yest to see any leak from the rear main. Valve covers are leaking but that's it. I'd want to see it for myself...

I'm not really interested in buying (there's no way I could replace my GS),

although I was interested in the uniqueness of the car.

There wasn't other trims than 'better' it would be like 'de-optioning' the car. Some people just hate leather...

I fit into this class....I'm get all sick and nasuea from the smell of leather whether its seats in cars or leather jackets or couches......My face turns red and I feel like I have a fever if exposed to leather for a long length of time......Had to put seat covers on the wife's Lexus .....Like the cloth on this Lexus.....Could have been switched out when the previous owner bought it.....My friend owns a uphlostry shop and does this all time...Course it from cloth to leather.....

The base car is typically cloth seats but none of them are built that way without a special order.
