Default got a quick tire q...

so my car takes 205/60/16 tire.but i found my friend who is selling his BF goodrich tire but is 205/55/16..so will that be a problem for in terms of handling/driving/turning n so on..????

It will be a little smaller diameter. Might throw your speedo off by a mile or so per hour. Shouldn't be an issue, to get the same rolling diameter you would need a 215/55r16.

ya i searched online too..n they all said the speedo will be off...what does that mean

It means that when the speedo reads 65 you might be actually going 62 mph. There is almost 1 inch of difference in total diameter between stock and the tire you are getting.

oo but beside that any other problem? what if that tire i was getting was a winter tire..would that also effect anything else beside the speedo thing?/
what about in terms of fuel mileage

its just that if i have to buy that tire then i need to buy it by tomorrow..

If it's a snow tire then you can't use it... too soft and won't last any time at all on asphalt. If it's an all season tire then you are fine.

ahha ya i did asked but @ as same time (as i mentioned above) m also searching online...its just that m trying to gather much info as possible.

Just Tires Retard placed the smaller one on my car without my knowledge, it will look strange but performance is not that noticable. +1 on speedo.
