1999 Lexus ES300 Projector Retrofit - Completed
#17
So i did my own baking as well.
I had the Morimoto Projectors in my XB but i came across a deal of sonar projectors for my XB and i bought them, took out the Morimoto out of the stock XB headlights and put them on the ES.
Not bad at all.

^^ I too am thinking about this. Probably do it in the spring.
Makes it hard when the retroftsource now is selling the projectors with a choice of shroud for around 70$ shipped on www.hidplanet.com
I've begun to give up on the hunt for OEM's, since they're too much.
I've seen many 'front end' sets from a Toyota windom [oem HID and the 'clear' corners] for around ~300$ shipped to me in canada - but being a RHD car, the left side of the road is more lit up than our LHD cars. So that can get annoying to others on the road

I don't see the $70 price.
So this is totally plug and play?

Yeah the Morimotos are the best route for projection headlights, i did mine on my 2000 lexus with stock hid and let me tell u it is way better than reflectors. I get a nice cutoff and beam pattern!
