Default My FIRST car!!!

So it has been a couple of weeks since I helped to buy my first car, but better late then never eh! I was originally driving around a 1993 es300 that my grandmother gave me with 150,000 miles on it and in great shape. She did not drive it around to much and kept it in the garage. I had always joked about her giving me her car one day....and she did! ha So a couple weeks ago I took it into the shop because it was overheating and I needed it to get to work and stuff. They told me I had a blown head gasket and transmission problems and that it would cost a little over $6,000 to fix.(I had it for three years and 190K miles when this happend) Well that was more than the car was worth so my parents and I concluded that I should look at buying my first car! I looked at a 1999 mazda miata with hard and soft tops first with 40k miles on it, but then I found this car and my grandmother had been able to talk the dealer down 3K! On a used car! Being the first car that I helped fund(parents and I had an agreement that the first car I would pay half) I wanted the most bang for my buck. Not to mention my whole family and friends know I LOVE Lexus. So I bought her that day for a total of a little over $10K! Her name is Alexa 2.0(Alexa was the name of my first Lexus), she is a 2002 ES300 with only 100K on her. She is in great condition and came with a couple of upgrades. She has the back window shade, gps, 6cd changer plus an extra one with a tape player behind the gps screen, auto windsheild whipers, all auto windows, barley any scratches, and I absolutely LOVE her. Perfect first car!!! Let me know what you think of her!

Very Nice choice, and very lucky dude!

I am jealous of your upgrades. You will be happy in the long run getting them. I don't have any of them and am slowly doing it myself.

Really like the color, and it does look to be in great condition!

Thanks everyone!! I am really happy with my purchase. Every time I get into this car, she makes me smile. Now when I ride around, instead of just feeling like I have one of the best cars on the road....I actually do! ha
