Back passenger power window issue
Hey folks,
Discovered a problem this evening that my back passenger side window is not working on my 2005 ES 330. Does not work with the drivers side controls, nor the actual back passenger one. Also noticed on the back passenger switch green light was flashing (when all others stay on as normal). So I think I can rule out a fuse. Sounds like it might be the relay switch itself. Any thoughts, suggestions on the fix are very much appreciated.

Got to troubleshoot the problem
And that takes care and time. I had the same problem with the front passenger window on an older model ES, (92 ES300) but in my case the drivers switch did work. I had the window finger switch replaced but I think my motor is going bad now as the window does not go up as fast as the driver's side does.
In my car, there is a window lock switch that deactivates the passenger door lock and power windows except for control by the driver. These are commonly called child protection locks or something like that. Maybe that explains the rear window switch and the drivers panel might have a bad switch. Or your motor is bad, may have to get a used one and replace it.

The child protection switch works fine on all other windows so I don't think it is that. Anyone know what the best & most cost effective way to troubleshoot this problem? The fact that the actual switch light that's flashing on the rear passenger side is leaning me towards that area alone...

I had the same thing happen to mine earlier this year. Found the fix here, it's been fine since. I swear this worked:
turn the key to ON
get in the back seat
hold the power window button up (or down)
slam the door a few times (while you're holding the button)
Worked for me.

The rear window switch treatment discussed above worked great for me too!!! Several firm slams with the switch in the "up" position didn't do anything but then I tried it with the switch in the "down" position and the switch started working again after the first slam. Window may not be getting enough use.
