Ok guys so i will try to explain it simple way to make your own LED footlight (front and rear). Now there are many ways. i ave already started using this thread with one way. Now i will be showing you an another way. Also you can put the LED in footlight area, underneath the rear doors, on the C- pillar, etc.
So this is what how i wired it. You need one ground and one power.I didnt have/used any instrument to check the polarity. i just played with the wires to see which was positive and which was negative and see which one lights up.
1) you need LED strip with wires solder into it. ( mine has 6LED and it came solder)
2) i used the this (picture 1) as ground. Its easy .Remove that bolt below the rubber cover.
3) strip the wire and wrap it around it.
4) The other wire went to the fuse. I used this fuse ( i think i used cigratte/power fuse. So just remove it and wrap the wire @ one end of the pole. (picture 2)
5) So now you have the power supply finalized. So make sure the LED is on. If its not then just swap the wires.
6) the next step is well just placing the LED where ever you want to put it.
And you are done and done !!!
PS: A note to make is that you will need to join the wire coming from the right passenger side since that will join the wires on the left passenger, so it easier to connect it to the fuse box. In this case a ground wire goes to right door sensor (similar to left side) and the other wire just join it with the wire going to the fuse using a connector.
The connectors i used is this one ( picture 3). and here is a video i found on net : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2m2KD...E_XxtX6qiVY%3D
Now the wire i used is this one ( picture 4). I cannot tell the size since my camera sucks in close-up. I want to take a picture with a ruler to tell you guys the size. So instead i used it to take this picture . . (picture 5). Just make sure it fits into the grove. That is the size you want.
well thats it!!!.hopefully i have made it easy for you guys to do it. Its actually very simple. Let me know if you any trouble. I will try my best to explain it.

nevermind... i'll have to pull up some wiring diagrams and re-do this.
Something about wrapping wires around a fuse spells disaster. Sorry, but good effort.
I'm wondering if there is a way to get a constant from the dome light, and the ground from the door switch in the rear to make it work without having to mess with fuses and wires all over. I'm going to rip out the wiring harness and use T-Taps to do this - if i ever bother getting around to it.
